For this image it took me almost two hours. The cat was scared of a few dogs that were around so he kept hiding under the bed. Once I took it from under the bed, I finally got my picture. Within three minutes I was done because it eventually hid under the bed again. The depth of field was very shallow. The first thing my eyes are drawn to are the eyes; they're very blue and beautiful. It's interesting how long it can take to set up and wait for the "perfect moment," and within seconds after taking the image, you're done so quickly.
